-It protects some inappropriate scenes on films such as, drinking alcohol or smoking.

-It protects the privacy of each person.

-It prevents the plagiarism.

-It separates the audiences from propaganda.

-It protects the world from having negative effects.

-It is the shield of moral in our community.

-It restricts the violence in movies and TV.

-It prevents violence by stopping the broadcast some scenes.

Disadvantages

-It is a violation of freedom.

-Pressing censorship will make people become more focus on that thing.

-It can control people.

-The government should not restrict people, censorship should be the other way around.

-Audiences have a right to know.

-Every people have different flavors.

-It will be very difficult to teach teenagers about bad effects of HIV, if we censor all of sex-related topic.

The Advantages and Disadvantagesof Censorship (Part 1)

I surfed to the internet about the advantages and disadvantages of pressing censorship on films, and I found one article that I think it very useful for my term paper. There are many details to explain and specific on censorship.

According to the article, censorship is primary thing and it has a big role in our society. Nowadays, we always use censor to avoid the negative impacts from watching media. On the other hand, censorship is also preventing audiences from dangerous, violence and pornography. However, we will see disadvantages of censorship in the past. For example, when you hear someone speak rudely, they should be banned in their community. In Cuba, the laws about censorship do not too restrict about it, but they also support.

Propaganda tries to change the citizen’s aspect, and a person who does not support or agree with the propaganda will be imprison.

In the case of disadvantages, we use censorship to protect the explicit contents that inappropriate to audiences buy labelling age restrictions. Because of this, most of TV programmes and films will have a rates when we watch them.

In my opinion, I strongly agree that censorship is very crucial for us. How can we know which movie is appropriate for us without censorship, so I think censorship helps to decrease the negative effects in our society.

Why we have to press a censorship ?

According to an article, there are many things that can persuade people when they watch a media. Censorship is like reminder of people's mind that they have to choose appropriate media to watch.

Most of audiences are ready to imagine anything that they have watched such as sex and violence. This issue becomes concern, so censorship is necessary.

For teenagers, they are ages that media can persuade easily. Media are the main factor that change teenager's thought and values.

In my opinion, censorship is very important for many people and every films because it is an appropriate thing that can tell the kind of each movie. On the other hand, it depends on the kind of film or classification, film maker should think carefully about that.

Censorship in Canada

This article persuade my intereasting because it tells about censorship in different country, and it has details about how they think about the censorship ?

In Canada, their media is a provincial responsibility. They seem like Australian state/territory regime. The recommend is for a unitary national task. In the report of the 1985, the federal Special Committee on Pornography and Prostitution has not processed.

At the first five years of last century, the major of legislation to censor publicly-exhibited films. The producers and distributions may avoid having a Motion picture Association of America (MPAA).

Canada try to separate their regime of video. The National Canadian Rating is base on the level of averaging film with the seven provincial boards.

In my opinion, each country should have their own organization of censorship, and try to make it legal.

Negative Impacts of Media

I saw an article that include contents about media. I think it is a good source of my topic that is "some Asian countries press censorship to avoid the negative impacts that teenagers may get from watching romance or love story films "

This article is a basic of my term paper becuase it has lots of information about using media and explanation of negative effects of using media that is very benifit to my work.

According to Manali Oak, the man who said “I am sure some of the girls among you have often made attempts to walk like some famous ramp models. I am sure some of you guys have always wanted to wear what some of the top actors of the industry do”

I can say that media affects to people thought from negative impacts below.

Magazines, internet or any media is affect to people life especially with the youths. Focus on youth, negative impacts will change thought, mind include their daily life. Moreover, media is easily accessible to teenagers and children, shows something that they don't need to know such as some scene from movies.

The negative impacts in psychological way, media are changing people's aspect about towards life. One of them is changing view of cultural and moral values of social. Most of people think and believe that everything in media is true.

From this article, I learned that most of people always used media with their daily life, and they got many effects from them. However, this is the one of main problems that we should find a solution because it will affect more in the future.

Many contents in this article give me an idea in my thought that what shoul I focus on. I think I should find more reliable information to put on my work.
